Coffee it or not

I don’t know about you but if I don’t have my Mocha capocciuno in the morning. I’m not fully awake or functional!

It just gives me the zip that I need to start my day, I used to be addicted to Moutain Dew back in college to keep me awake and ready to go to class and not fall asleep. I guess I sorta have different addiction now. It’s Mocha!

I’m addicted to the extent I’m thinking to buy that machine that makes it at home! It’s good stuff!

Are you a coffee person or not?

PC Crashed

Did I get a big scare this weekend! One of my harddrives crashed on me. I was like no big deal its not even the harddrive I’m currently running the OS on. I rebooted after I unplugged that harddrive, and the PC wont boot. Yup the MBR is on the other harddrive. SO felt I was screwed and that I will lose all my stuff. After hours of working the problem I was able to install another OS on the same partition and create an MBR and boot record for the other OS and I was good to go!

I need to come up with a backup plan, what’s your backup plan?

Positive It

I have wrote a couple of posts in the past about thinking positive and how it effects our lives.

Now I have realized yet another way to tackle this thinking!

We face a bunch of different negative things in our daily lives, whether they are things that happen to us directly or whether its people that are just flat out negative and give you this negative vibe indirectly! Knowing that, we can let the positive thinking overtake that situation easily if you ask me. Just think of good things that make you happy, I know your going to say that’s a very nice TEMP solution. Well hear me out; the mind behaves according to what we train it to. If we train it to look at things in a negative manner, then it will handle situations in that aspect.

However, when we train our minds to think positively by changing each bad situation into a good situation, good things will happen. For instance when I’m facing a bad or negative thing, I think of my beautiful baby and right away it puts a smile on my face and I forget about the current negativity. I let my positives overtake the negatives. Believe it or not, down the road you will find yourself handling each negative situation very nicely based on your attitude!

Working Out

When it gets cold out and you can’t play tennis or run or hoop what do you do?

You get in the gym and start pumping iron. I’m starting my routine this week, I went in the gym a couple of weeks ago and realized how much I’m out of lifting shape so all my muscles were super sore and beat up. I took a week off and now is the time to start gradually getting back in shape. It just feels good to lift weights!

One more tourney left in a couple of weeks! So far I’m in the third place overall. I definitley gonna use this for my advantage to work on my game and shape for next year!

Patience

Define Patience for me?

Here’s my def:

Patience can be learned and can be applied on various situations. For instance I learned patience from the game of tennis. I don’t consider myself to be an extremely patient person but I am patient to a certain degree.

I think for people to achieve good things in life, they have to be patient and they have to excercise their patience on their daily things they face and do. I’m learning to admire patience more day after day!

Big Decision

I got offered a job in Florida and I’ve been thinking about it lately alot. It’s nice to move and see what’s out there but since I have one of the BEST friends on the face of the planet it’s a hard to move away from them! I was lucky enough for my current job to counter the offer and ask me to stay with them. It’s good to feel appreciated and loved by your coworkers. After all we do spend a big chunk of our life and time at work, so we better like what we do and who we work with! The other good reason that I get to stay in MI is for that ONE heck of a girl I met. Just to say the least she rocked my world !

Quote of the Week

” Sometimes the biggest risk is not taking one”

I think what makes life so interesting is the fact that we don’t know what the future holds for us, and everything happens based on the decisions we make or take which in a way dictates our future to some degree.

Are you a Risk taker? What was the biggest risk you’ve taken in your life?
