I bought this TV a couple of weeks ago. I was very confused as to what TV I wanted to buy since most of the TVs are very close in prices and there are a lot of them out there.

There are the LCD, DLP, PLASMA LCOS etc.. I did a lot of research and came up with the fact that DLP and LCD are so close in performance and you can’t just single one out, just some do things better then others on a very low ratio. I figured if I’m going to buy a widescreen TV I want to make sure that it would be able to last a for a few years and still be good TV; technology wise and performance wise as well. I saw this TV at Circuit City and the minute I looked at I fell in love with the design of it. It comes with the stand built into it which saves you 400$ right there. Performance wise it’s amazing. The picture is Crystal Clear. Channels with High Definition signals look unbelievable, XBOX with HD as well as DVDs are fantastic.

One of the features that I love is the PC input feature, which allows me to hook up my Mac and do my web design with a great resolution. For all the gamers out there, this would be an important option to look into when buying a big screen. “HalfLife-2” on 50 inch you do the math.

The reason I’m giving it a 4 stars is, the “PIP” picture in picture feature is nice but not enough for me. For instance it will let you view PIP with DVD and TV but not with PC and DVD. And it won’t swap them. I’m going to contact Samsung and see if there’s a way around it. That’s about the only thing that I don’t like about the TV.
