Conference in Las Vegas
Last Week I went to Vegas for devconnections conference. It had everything from Microsoft SQL 2005 to Office Sharpoint, ASP.NET, Visual Studio 05, Windows Vista, Security Active Directory and Group Policies. The conference itself was very well worth it. Now the Trip going there was kinda pain in the butt. Let me just start by saying when we went to the Airport to Fly to Detroit there was no plane available. We had to take the bus to Detroit which is about 5 hours.
Got on the plane and guess what, the Smoke detector came on so we had to switch planes. On the way back there was a disabled plane on the runway so we couldn’t land when we were supposed to so we did a detour in the sky. After we landed on the next flight connection was cancelled due to Snow Storm. We ended up renting a car and driving through the storm. I drove for 7 to 8 hours straight going through NON-STOP rain and then sleet then Snow. It doesn’t end here, we get home and there was power outage. Go figure! hehe . Other than that the conference was pretty good and Vegas was well , Just Vegas ![]()
