First time this spring I played tennis outdoors and it felt just great! Its so much more fun playing outside. Well I’m still going on the diet. Now lost about 12 lbs. Feeling good and my goal is to lose about 12 more lbs. This weekend I got a tennis tourney in Traverse city. oh my buddy nick challenged me for a race at Hubbard Lake on May 12, so I’m looking forward to show him how it’s done on the hills.

My buddy Matt and I went biking today to Hubbard Lake, that’s our routine spot to bike . It’s a total of 23 miles all hills and what not. It felt good to be back out there. Man do I love spring / summer?

Being outside is something else.. breathing the fresh air, the nature.. now that’s living! Can you tell I’m not a fan of winter and snow !

Well, My first tournament with the Alpena team is coming up at the end of the month and guess what I haven played tennis in like 3 weeks now, still that shoulder injury hasn’t recovered, but the plan is give it some time and let it heal, instead of hurting it more. Hopefully it would be good to go by the end of the month. The good thing is this gives me more time to work on my fitness and shape.

Guess who is in the lead?

Mr Mo 7.4 pounds lost in the first week! How? to make the story short “Dedication”

1- Cereal and Milk for breakfast.
2- Slim fast for lunch

3- Salad for dinner.. chicken, shrimp, tuna..

4- snacks through out the day only “Fruits”

5- Workin out 4 days a week. Strictly cardio

I’ve been trying to eat healthy lately and get in better shape, however I’ve been slacking from time to time. So I decided the best way to motivate myself is to have some competition. I came up with the idea of have a contest of who loses the most weight at work. Every friday we weigh ourselves and the one the loses the most get a free 5 day refill of slim fast bottles.

My tennis tournaments start at the end of May so I need to be fit and lighter than last summer. That’s the goal this year. I joined the Alpena tennis team and our first tourney is actually at the end of April and its sponsered by USTA. We play different teams from northeast Michigan and if we do good the state district championship is in Indiana. However we gotta play some matches before we get there. The first tourney is in Traverse city and the next is in GrandRapids.

I figured if Agassi lost some weight to play better tennis why shouldn’t I ? :)
