Attitude
Attitude
It’s all about attitude in no matter what you face in life, its how you deal with things and how you look at them. For instance lets say you go to your job and you hate it. As we know we spend at least 60 % of our time during each week at work. So if you have that I don’t like this, I hate this then 60 % of your week is going to be shit. You’re going to be feeling like shit and being upset and missing out on the rest of your 40% of the week.
This is where attitude is a huge factor in how we look at things. I’m going to give a real time example that I’m dealing with in my life.
For instance when I started this semester I just hated one of my classes, which is about culture and media. I was super bored in class and knowing that we have to write a lot of papers didn’t help either. The first two weeks were like nightmare for me to go to class. Here’s how I dealt with this situation by changing my attitude and looking at the situation in a different angle. Well in this class we have to write papers and the topics are up to us as long as they relate to the material discussed in class.
My first topic I chose “The Apprentice” show that I love. The result was I loved writing the paper and I got a decent grade on it 18/20. Second paper I chose “ Howard Stern” and also wrote my heart out, the result was 17/20. The third paper I wrote about “Ipods” and got 19/20.
I did enjoy going to class/ writing these papers because of the attitude that I had.
I thought I’d share this with everyone out there that is having problems with different situations.

That’s a good point. I’ve been trying to make the best of any situation at work, no matter how tough it may be… after all it is WORK.
Another thing is if you’re always in a bad mood, you bring other people down and no one is happy. But if you’re in a good mood then it rubs off on other people.

Hey! Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for stopping by my blog! I like your post on having the right attitude. I completely agree - I jsut wish it were easier to do sometimes! I noticed in your About Me that you are wearing a Live Strong bracelet supporting cancer research. YEAH!. I a cancer survivor - a long long time ago and love to see people wearing those in support!

Thanks Michelle, I’ve been wearing this bracelet since Tour de france, when Armstrong won. It makes me feel good to wear it for all kinds of purposes. One for support of the cancer foundation, second it’s the color of victory and true determenation from the man himself that fought cancer and won the tour de france 6 times in a row.

I just read a quote by Dale Carnegie that kind of reminded me of this post:
“Many people think that if they were only in some other place, or had some other job, they would be happy. Well, that is doubtful. So get as much happiness out of what you are doing as you can and don’t put off being happy until some future date.”
