That’s right, you can’t just make everybody happy, yet Allan Chalmers said: “the grand essentials of happiness are:something to do, something to love, and something to hope for” and my problem is that the something I do, love, and hope for is: to make people around me happy although I know it might be useless

I have come to believe that if someone is to spend their life trying to make the people around them happy, they’ll end up as the only one who is unhappy.
