Ipod 3G VS Ipod 4G  View/Post Comments (10)

I’m going to do a quick comparison between both Ipods.

I used to own ipod 3G, it worked great. I take it with me on the road using the Itrip, which btw works magnificently. I love the interface of the Ipod 3G. Touch technology. However the bad thing about that is if your driving and trying to switch between songs or albums, the touch buttons start to get annoying and disturbing. You have to press hard and sometimes they wont respond. That’s where Ipod 4G is superior, with its wheel and built-in buttons on it. All you have to do is push the buttons located on the wheel without even looking at it.

First Mac  View/Post Comments (4)

I got my hands on the first Mac computer ever. I bought an apple Powerbook after I sold my Dell laptop on Ebay. I did get a good deal, I sold my Dell and Ipod and got a new Ipod and Powerbook and all I paid was 100 bucks. Well, apple had a deal for students which is 200$ off and if you get the Ipod it’s another 200 $ off can’t beat that. If you guys know any cool software for mac let me know. Other than photoshop suite and final cut pro.
I have to say so far I love the OS X. It’s close to XP with some neat features.
The main reason I got this mac is for my studies. I need something for my video editing like Final cut pro. Any cool sites that feature cool things about macs let me know thanks

My Theory  View/Post Comments (4)

Posted on September 9th, 2004. About Personal, Thoughts.

Negative VS Positive

I think I have a certain theory about how life functions and how we react to it. My theory is called “The NEGPOS Theory”

Almost everything in life works on the scientific theory saying “Action and Reaction”. The way I look at it is; We go through two phases in accomplishing a task. The first phase I refer to it as the Negative phase and the second phase the positive phase.

Negative phase: entitles us going through the process or either working or thinking or doing or even close to accomplishing a task. It’s not achieving the task it’s the process in which we go through in order to finish a certain task or goal. For instance, we go to work, so we can get paid and live and prosper in life as well as go through the stages of life. Now working by itself is the process in which we are going to accomplish the paycheck. So working is the negative phase.

Positive phase: is accomplishing our negative phase or achieving our goals, whether they are getting paid, wining, losing weight, whatever that is our goal. So if we take the example above which is working to get paid, hence getting paid will be the positive phase. Another example, going on a diet would be the negative, losing weight would be the positive. One last example, looks at electricity in order for it to work you need both negative and positive forces, so there you go.

As a conclusion I think regardless of all the theories out there, this one theory (NEGPOS) summarizes a big portion of our lives. We always have to go through the negatives to reach the positive outcomes. Its part of life and it’s the 2 stages in which we have to take to become successful in life.

The Champ is back!  View/Post Comments (6)

Unleash the passion for Victory.

Time has come, and the champ had to deliver. I played excellent, had my serve broken about 4 times the whole tournament. I won the trophy for the singles division which consisted of 16 players in that division, and won the bronze for doubles division. It was so humid and hot on Saturday that on my last match I started getting cramps. I played over 4 matches in the heat. I guess my body needed some sodium. The last doubles match I was playing while I was facing cramps in my thigh and hamstring. We won the first set, then I told my partner Tyler, “You have to pick it up, because I’m having cramps”. We lost the second set and we went to tie-breaker in the third, in which I was really hurt I took 2 time-outs for injury time.

The guy that we were playing in the doubles hit his partner’s racquet while he was serving which caused the racquet to fly up in the air, we couldn’t help it but laugh. Well guess what, I got cramps right in my ribs cause I was laughing so hard. We end up losing the match in the tie-breaker 7-5. Just by 2 points oh well we got the bronze. This was the first time in which I got cramps and kept on playing through the pain. It would’ve been a lot more fun if we’ve beaten those guys. No pain no gain. Overall it was a good tournament.
