I always wanted to see Mackinac Island; and go up north to see what’s it like. It was pretty nice; you feel like you went to a different state. It’s kind of like Frankenmuth but not really. Chocolate Fudge places are all over and Ice cream places. It’s so relaxing though, since it is surrounded by water, blue crystal clean water that is. We went on the mackinaw bridge which is currently the third longest suspension bridge in the world, 5 miles. After we drove on the bridge we got to the end and yup we had to pay 2.50 $ to get out of the bridge into Saint Ignace. Basically to just drive on the bridge it costs you 5 bucks, what a rip off? I know they need to maintain the bridge but I mean come on !

The whole island is about 8 miles, oh and it smells like horseshit. We rode the bikes along the shoreline all across the island and we went the 8 miles it was a pretty nice scene; biking across the water and the beautiful nature. We went to the point lookout which is pretty high, we took some shortcuts to get there since it was very hilly but it was worth it. Overall it was a good short vacation before the school kicks in.
