Photoblogs VS Weblogs

Photoblogs VS Weblogs

Weblogs are for people that like to write and read.

1- People that like to share their thoughts about different topics.
2- People that find comfort in writing what goes through their minds.
3- People that like to post about their success or failures.
4- People that like to get input on interesting debates.
5- People that seek a place to express themselves openly and freely.

Photoblogs: are more of artistic ways of presenting yourself.

Here’s what the experts say: “’A photoblog is a type of blog that is regularly updated with photos. Some photoblogs focus only on photography, while others have photos in addition to other content. All photoblogs, however, consider photos to be an important part of their chronological blogging structure”. Source Photoblogs.org

1- People like to share their talents and their places they’ve been to.
2- People like to see what other people think of their art; their design, and their work.
3- People like to look at things and form their own interpretation of what they observe.

The common things that Weblogs and Photoblogs have are:

1- Both do share ideas.
2- Both explain about one’s self.
3- Both are expressed openly.
4- Both are work of art.
5- Both can be updated daily or weekly.

My question would be do you think that you would learn more about the person of a blog through his Weblog or through his Photoblog?

A picture is worth a thousand words… but it might be easier to interpret a person’s words rather than their photos or pieces of art.

I believe you learn more by the words, but there is also a lot to learn from pictures. For instance, photos can be misinterpreted or you might not have any clue about a picture, but with words, they are usually easy to understand.

Pictures without words do not communicate as much. Not sure why but I always want to read the caption before I even look to closely at a picture.

I believe both are equally important. Words tell about the mentality, personality, interests, ideas, opinions and personal life, on the other hand pictures tell about taste, what gets your attention, concerns, talent, choices, and makes us see in your eyes. Finally, to me, it’s the ability of delivering a msg that counts.

words. photos. doesn’t matter a little bit of both brings out the soul or the journal.
