Sweet Deal

I was having problems with my Dell Laptop ” Inspiron 8500″. The thing just freezes whenever and I mean completely dies. So I did the normal procedures. I thought at first it could be the software that is causing it; so I rebuilt my laptop and still had the same problem. I called in Dell, since its still under the warranty. Send it the first time; they changed the battery and keyboard. After I got it I tried it out, and ya still same issue. Send it back, they changed the cpu and heat sink; Still same issue. Send it back they changed the motherboard, still same. So apparently there is some sort of overheating in the case that is causing the issue. So Dell sends me a new laptop, faster and better then my old one. Here are the specs: 2.6 GHZ, 1GB ram, 80 GB harddrive, WIFI, 15.2 inch. My old one was 2.5 GHZ and 40 GB hard drive. I guess Dell is a good company after all. They know they caused me inconveniency and they delivered. I’m actually thinking of getting a PowerBook G4 soon for my “Masters” Since Macs are superior in graphics. I might sell this one; if anyone is interested email me and we will work something out.

Actually, I read somewhere that Macs aren’t really superior in graphics like they used to be. They’re just more common in the graphics industry because that’s what everyone has been using for awhile… so it’s always good to be familiar with them

Wow! I’m impressed, I mean Dell actually sent you a whole new and better laptop, this is just wonderful. If anyone around me needs to buy I’ll let them know about your offer

I read the same thing about Macs. They aren’t better than PCs anymore for graphics. I mean…both use the same software and the hardware is very comparable these days. Keep the PC or you’ll have that learning curve on the Mac before you can even get anything done on it.
