I understand it when someone gets so dramatic as a reaction to a certain situation- and not all situations that is. But when a person is too dramatic (as a characteristic and not as a reaction) then I have to admit that such people give me a nervous breakdown. As you said, life consists of the bitter & sweet, we should be up to facing difficulties as much as we’re willing to enjoy pleasure. And there are many ways of achieving excitement other than making a big deal out of nothing, because this annoys others and draws the wrong kind of attention in the wrong way rather than achieving excitement. And I guess the reason behind being so dramatic is –besides environment and life circumstances- an empty space in the personality or a psychological imbalance. So I believe we can change dramatic people ONLY IF they had the will to change as well, with love, care, and conversation to show them that there are other more successful ways to deal with situations and to enjoy life. If they don’t change, then, as you said, at least we’ve tried :) Anyway, I think if we all follow what Henry David Thoreau said: “as you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler”, then life will be much easier!
