6 Months of Blogging

Posted by Mo | General, Personal, Thoughts, Website History | Tuesday 11 May 2004 8:02 am

It’s been 6 months since I started blogging. I never thought I would keep it up; I thought I would get bored and stop posting stuff. Since I get bored of things real easy; but not with blogging. I love sharing my thoughts and ideas and things that happen to me online. I also like hearing other people’s opinions on matters and things in life. That’s why I think I’m going to keep on blogging till I run out of things or thoughts to say. If you are interested in having your own weblog; I would highly recommend Wordpress. If you don’t know how to configure it and set it up; there’s always the help support at Wordpress. However; if you don’t feel like doing a lot of work then you can use the already made weblog which is called livejournal All you have to do is create an account and you should be all set to go and start blogging. If you ask me I’d say putting the time into a nice weblog is always worth it ;)

This is my 100 POST. Never underestimate the power of your mind. Writing posts is awesome; it stimulates the mind and make people think and share their thoughts. I love to hear what other people think about different things in life, about different topics and so on. Hamoudy.com has proven that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion and all are respected as is. It’s a free world, why not share your ideas and thougths. After all, we learn from each other and we advance in life based on other people’s knowledge and ours of course. So share the love people!

Intelligent Menu

I have added to my site, what they call it intelligent menu. Here’s how it works; when you click on one of the menu buttons it keeps it highlighted so the user will know where he or she is at; meaning what page the user is on. Thanks to PhotoMatt for the nice script.

Everything happens for a reason?

Does everything happen for a reason?
Is it twist of fate or luck that affects us or shape our life? Or is it cause and effect?

I’m a true believer of the statement, everything happens for a reason. Things in life behave in a certain way due to a certain reason. For instance, snakes crawl on the ground because they have thick skin that allows then to take all that friction from the ground. It’s an obvious example that shows common sense and reason. The earth we live on is explained by physics; again the cause of this is always related to reason. To spice things up I’m going to give a tricky example and try to relate it to the theory behind reason. Let’s say you apply for a “X” school, you do the paper work and all the things within your power to get in the school. However, let’s say you didn’t get in, does that mean you are not too good to be in that school, or just you wasn’t lucky to get in because there were too many students who applied? Let’s assume that your grades are good and all. In other words, would that have to deal with luck or reason? The way I would think about it is, I didn’t get in to that school because there was a good reason behind it, a good reason that I might not understand or know. But the fact that I did everything possible or within my power to get in, is the right way of approaching and achieving goals in my mind, so if it doesn’t work out, then I would move on to the next plan thinking maybe it didn’t work out for my own benefit! In other words, as long as we are exerting a 100% effort in what we do. We shouldn’t worry about the result of it whether it was negative or positive, the real deal is exerting that effort; don’t worry about the things that you can’t control, so in other words do your best about the things that you can control and have power upon.

It seems to me that cause and effect is rational explanation to all of our actions. You study, you pass. You drink and drive; you crash, etc… I know there could be exceptions but exceptions don’t make rules! That’s why there are weak reasons.

Do you believe in luck? Do you think you’re lucky if you have lots of money and everything you want in life? Well you are not lucky if you worked your ass off to get all that, however what if you inherited all that money? Would that make you think you’re lucky? I’d say your not since your parents worked their butts off to make all that. Which brings me back to the theory it happened for a reason?
Please share your thoughts if you will, remember I wrote this for a reason ;)

Kill Bill Volume 2; Uma Thurman continues her revenge. What she refers to it as “Death List”.

I usually don’t like the sequels; but this one is definitley a good one.

They added some more content to this one; I’m not going to give alot of information about the movie so you can go and see it :) I give it A-

A female assassin,Uma Thurman, attacked on her wedding day by her group leader, Bill, wakes up from a coma after 4 years and
