There is a local tennis tournament taking place next saturday. If anyone is interested in joining let me know. My friend is organizing the whole thing. It’s going to be one division; meaning all kinds of players are going to be in it. In otherwords, it’s going to be kind of tough but what the hell it’s all about having fun. It’s 10 dollors for admission. Oh ya and the tournament is taking place at SVSU courts.

What’s your favorite pop/soda?

Well mine; I have to say it’s Mountain Dew. What’s so special about it? I don’t know; maybe it’s the caffeine and yellow 5 that gives it the good taste. However; they say yellow 5 is not the best thing for you; oh what the hell as long as you drink moderately I think you’re good. There is something about the dew that gets you wanting it more and more. Anyways I’ll have to go and grab me a Dew now.

1-People driving slow on the left lane.
2-Setting your grocery cart in the middle of the aisle.
3-People that are not punctual.
4-People that don’t respond to your emails on time.
5-When I tell someone an advice and they don’t listen because they are stubborn.
6-People in the gym that make all kinds of sounds when they are lifting.
7-people that can’t sing; yet they still do.
8-When my friend bails out to go to the gym because he got some rollerblading to do.
9-When my buddy slacks on doing cardio because he thinks cardio is just to make you lose weight; and that’s it.
10-When someone tells you will call you and he or she forgets.
11-People not leaving tip at the resturant.
12-Kids that do the opposite of what you tell them to do.
13-Not wiping your swet on the tredmill or stepper after using it in the gym.
14-People that don’t leave comments on my site regularly. :mrgreen:
15-People that make stuff up or excuses because they couldn’t make it.
16-People in a group project; that don’t do their part and you end up doing all the work.
17-Things that are not well labeled.
18-Talking on the cell while driving, “oops I do that too”.
19- People that wouldn’t shut up early in the morning.

According to my friend Katy, who is majoring in Exercise Science, here’s what you should do to stay in shape and fit.

1- 15-20 min of cardio 3 days a week.
2- Lift Weights 3 days a week
3- Healthy diet, follow the food pyramid.
4- Felxibilty is a key to maintaining proper fitness (Stretching muscles when they are warm, warm-ups) Stretching them when they are cold is like stretching a taffy that was in the freezer. “IT SNAPS”
5- If you Don’t use it, you Lose it. So get off the couch and use the stairs instead of the elevator. “Lazy ass” :mrgreen:

Miracle

This movie is about a Hockey coach who believed in his players and taught them discipline on the court and off the court.

He (Russel) took his team to the Olympics and beat the invincible Russian team in1980.
I thought it was a good movie; well played by Russell.
I give it A-.

Did you ever feel like you were too close to something yet too far from it? In other words; if something going to work out for you and your too close to the end, yet it would be too far from your reach if you don’t achieve it. Does that make any sense? The question lies in how you handle the outcome? No matter what it is, as I mentioned in an earlier post, everything happens for a reason . So the trick would be how your going to advance from that point, assuming that the outcome was not what you were expecting or looking forward to? The way I look at it is; you got to move on to the next battle. Life is a series of battles, you lose some and you win some; the key is in standing up every time you get knocked down on the ground. Nothing always goes according to your plan; doesn’t mean you change your goals, however; it means you got to modify and readjust your goals. Sooner or later good things will happen just like bad things do happen as well.
