I can’t wait the Pacers are visiting the palace and the pistons this week. This sunday I’m going to the game; it should be one heck of a good match. Pacers being number 1 and pistons number 2. Don’t worry folks, I’ll hook you up with some pictures when I get back. Ben Wallace grabbing the rebounds and Sheed throwing it down. BTW the whole stadium is sold out. I was lucky to get tickets for me and my buddy through the school.

I‘m not a big fan of “The Rock”; however “Stiffler” ,Sean William Scott, is in it and he is hilarious. The story revolves around Beck “Rock” who works as a retriever. He was asked by his boss to retrieve his son, Travis, Sean William Scott, who went to the Amazon to find a priceless artifact. The action starts when the Rock goes to Amazon town. I was actually impressed by the Rock’s role. He did get a lot of beating and showed good and skillful fighting skills during most of the fight scenes. Sean also added sense of humor to the movie. I’d give it B+.

Are We or Not?  View/Post Comments (11)

Are we living our lives moment at a time?

Let’s say you are washing the dishes after a long day of work, and you decided that you want to drink a cup of tea right after you’re done with the dishes. Now while washing the dishes you are going to be thinking about that cup of tea, in other words your not living the present time which is washing the dishes “time”, yet your are thinking ahead of time about that cup of tea. The same thing goes when you’re done with the dishes and you’re drinking the tea; in your mind, now your thinking I want to read that “X” book. So technically you’re not enjoying the cup of tea, thinking of the “X” book and so on.

Basically were not living the events at the present time, which means we are missing on little things that we don’t realize were missing on. It goes on and on; we get to the conclusion that we always fail to see our present time, trying to think of the next thing. I think this is different from multitasking in the sense that when we are multitasking we still have the sense of what were doing which brings me to think that it’s different from thinking about the next thing.

I don’t know I was wondering myself about this; if you have any interesting information please share it. Stuff like that triggers the mind to think about things that we might never actually think about it. You don’t have to agree with me; just state your opinion if you don’t mind.

SKooling Them  View/Post Comments (6)

I was pumping iron yesterday in the gym; during my break time I swung by the basketball gym and saw some people hooping. I was like somebody gotta show them how it’s done (being cocky here); so you know I put my game face on and started hooping. However, after lifting weights your arms are sore and heavy, so I struggled pretty much most of the game till it was game time; we were 12 to 13 and the game is up at 15. So I was like you gotta keep shooting, so I hit the 3 pointer which is counted as 2 and then I jammed my thumb. I was in pain but hey you gotta do what you gotta do sometime, so I started playing with my left hand and I scored the last point with a lefty lay-up.

The whole point behind it believe it or not is not to brag about it, but to say “you gotta keep trying no matter what” eventually something good will happen to ya. That’s the couple of lines of wisdom for today….

I rarely watch horror movies; I’m not a big fan of them. However; when you get Halle Barry you gotta watch it ;).

The story revolves around “Miranda” Halle Barry the Psychiatrist who works in an asylum. She wakes up one day in the asylum as a patient not as a doctor, she have committed a crime that she didn’t remember.

Through out the movie Miranda is trying to prove that she isn’t crazy and prove her innocence; a very interesting dilemma between science and fiction in the movie. Halle was great in this movie; did an awesome job portraying the patient and the doctor’s role. Robert Downey Jr. who played the doctor also did a good job. I would give the movie A-. It would probably make you jump off your seat in a couple of scenes but it’s not too scary.

Who doesn’t love toys?
So after I saw the New Ipod 3rd Generation in the mall last week. I thought the interface was awesome and design was incredible too, it works like a pocket pc got calendars in it . It’s basically like a hard drive you can add whatever. What I really liked about it when I tried it in the mall was the navigation; it uses the touch technology and the wheel which makes it easy for me to go through my music lists. I sold my old Creative Zen jukebox on eBay and bought this new 30 GB Ipod from eBay as well. Got a good deal on the Ipod; eBay rocks !

Livonia’s job fair  View/Post Comments (4)

There was a job fair in livonia so my buddy and I decided to go there. We drove for about 1hour and 30min; there was about 88 companies and you had to pay 10 $ to get in. Anyways the job fair wasn’t exceptional most of the people there told us to fill our applications online. Wow what a tip !! However; we made the most out of the situation by seeing who is out there.

Anyhow on the way back we stopped by the Twelve Oaks mall. I have to say I found the coolest place in a mall ever; its called Brookstone. They got some neat and awesome stuff. Here’s a couple of things that I would love to buy from that place in this lifetime. Human-Touch Massage Chair the picture is on your left. BTW this chair is so relaxing I almost fell asleep trying it, messages your back and legs and calves. Pretty sweet. Hammock obviously is a must get. Now this is the coolest vacuum ever, It’s robotic and it detects where it needs to clean check it out. It’s called Roomba
