Joke of the day

WHAT IS IT NOW?

God said, “Adam, I want you to do something for Me.”
Adam asked, “Gladly, Lord, what do You want me to do?”
God said, “Go down into that valley.”
Adam asked, “What’s a valley?”
God explained it to him.
Then God said, “Cross the river.”
Adam asked, “What’s a river?”
God explained it to him, and then said, “Go over to the hill…”
Adam asked, “What is a hill?”
So God explained that to Adam too.
He told Adam, “On the other side of the hill you will find a cave.”
Adam asked, “What’s a cave?”
After God explained, he said, “In the cave you will find a Woman.”
Adam asked, “What’s a woman?”
So God explained that to him too.
Then God said, “I want you to reproduce.”
Adam asked, “How do I do that?”
God said under his breath and then, just like everything else, God explained that to Adam as well.
So Adam went down into the valley, across the river, over the hill, into the cave, and found the woman.
Then in about five minutes, he was back.
God said angrily, “What is it now?”
Adam asked, “What’s a headache?”

A day off

Posted by Mo | General | Friday 9 January 2004 10:00 pm

So I had a day off work today, so I decided to kinda chill and have some fun before the semster starts. Besides I pinched a nerve while lifting weights and it still hurts so I needed something to make me forget the pain. Went to Great lakes crossing, by far the best Mall in Michigan. So my buddy and I went to do some shopping and what a better place then Steve and Barry’s got some nice sweatures for goood prices.

Then we went to see the “Last Samurai” By far the best movie after Braveheart I thought. The movie is very well produced and implemented in a way that it seems very realistic. The swords fights and all that just amazing. Tom cruise did a magnificant job in this one as well. I would highly recommend watching this in the theaters if you didn’t already. Also the movies in GLCM are awesome specially with the nice seats and surround sound pretty sweet.

Another thing I found out at GLCM is Game Works, this place is awesome, lots of game arcades and stuff I beat my buddy in Basketball its almost like the real thing, same height of the rim and everything, after that one guy wanted to take me one on one in that game so we played and were tied at 32 each. So now I’m, starting to get some ideas where I want to have my birthday this year ;). After a day off which I needed before the semster kicks in, feels good but my neck still kinda bothering me at the moment hopefully it will heal this weekend cause I need to get back in the gym ASAP to stay in shape .Alrighty for now I gtg and get some stuff done. So peace for now

Tennis is a game of adjustments

Posted by Mo | Tennis | Thursday 8 January 2004 10:41 pm

Tennis is a game of adjustments. That’s all to it ! I went to two tournaments. I one the first one and lost the second. However what I learned from the second benefited me more than I expected. I played with old experienced tennis players like 30 years old. They taught me how to adjust my game when needed and how to play smart. After the game the guy came to me and said how long have you been playing tennis I was like just started like 3 years ago, he was like wow , he’s been playing like for 15 years. So he gave me a couple of tips on what I should work on to better my game. Like they say It doesn’t matter how many times you fall as long as you still get up ;). Anyhow for whoever is interested in learning how Andy Roddick holds the racquet and how he hits his devestating forehand here is an awesome site with videos and animations and tips so enjoy!

Everybody dies but not everybody really Lives

Posted by Mo | Thoughts | Thursday 8 January 2004 10:18 pm

Living life like it’s an advanture and like a big huge “sphered” place filled and surrounded with thousands and millions of doors. You never know what’s behind each door till you open it. In my perspective the biggest risk in life is not taking one, so I try to take risks every now and then. The whole point behind this is we get a chance to leave a mark on this world so why not go for it? No body knows how long they will live or when they will die, so why not take advantage of that and start changing the world and making it a better place! Everyone can live an ordinary life, but not everyone can really live an extraordinary one. This is just a couple of thoughts that were going through my mind today and I wanted to share them with whoever is interested in bettering themselves and their lives.

Shooting the lights out!

So yesterday went to the gym worked out. I’m still trying to get back in shape to where I was in the summer. So I started like 3 weeks ago doing alot of cardio and more lifting. At first it was very hard, I was really out of shape. I started like running 8 mins and then feeling all tired. I decided to step it up and I add like a couple of min of running each day. I went to play basketball like “then” and since I was out of shape didn’t play very well at all. Felt dizzy after the game and all that. Now after almost a month I feel much better I’m running like 20 to 25 min easy and doing alot more like biking and using the elipse machine. A couple of my friends were hooping yesterday so I went there and yes shooting the lights out. Felt good to be back in shape but definitely not all the way back about 75 % in shape I can say at this moment. Hard work always pays at the end.
