For instance, the other day at work, a woman called because she needed to reset her password. I needed to verify her ID # before I could do anything and she did not have the number. I explained this to her and that I was acting under federal privacy of information acts. She kept pestering me about it until she finally decided I wasn't going to change her password without the number. What I really wanted to say to this bitch was, "I'm not going to risk losing my job over a password. If you wouldn't have waited until the last few minute on the last day of registration for classes, we wouldn't be having this conversation!" Now, if I would have said that, I'd have been in a heap of trouble. That's just one situation where you have to keep your mind to yourself.
