<description>Social networks are good for some things yet bad for others. My step father used to hate the having to use the phone and would instead prefer to conduct business in person. In today&#039;s fast-paced and tech-enhanced world, a social network is nice to have. Personally, I look to these networks to find old friends and to meet new people. You are right in that we need to remember not to solely rely on these methods of communication for those important things (birthday wishes, etc.). Speaking of which, did you ever wish me a happy birthday? LOL! I recommend a well-rounded approach to life! I would compare it to using a calculator. Communicating with these new forms of technology is great, but we MUST NOT forget how to communicate to traditional way!
