I just went through your post ... really interresting and you are really going to the point here. I believe that one have no control on things going arround him and things that are pulling him but I am sure that one have control on one thing and this will help him in all the situations . From my point of view one can program his mind and can control himself if not the situation , in other word he can program himsef with taking "situation" as input parameter :)) ... So I say that CONTROL will be controlling your mind and yourself and this is your responsability . Mind rules !

Hey bro,
first I miss you
sec i miss u
third, a lot.
I love what u wrote.
I think we can never control anything in our life.We can plan and learn to deal with any outcome we have.Strong people can always manage any situation there are in , even if they can't control it. I know u are a very strong person.
love you
ur wise :)sis/

Interesting!

I think you're right that there's lots of things you can't control in life. The key is to make sure you don't let that get you down. There's usually some way you can at least influence these things. You really have to take the bad with the good, and learn how to turn the bad into good. Attitude is everything.

I wish you wrote this about 6 months ago!

We are thinking along the same way! My whole point here is dealing with situations in otherwords surviving the situations

I'm not sure if I agree with the way you express surviving here or not. While I think that the post is excellent and it brings up a lot of good points I believe that being a survivor can be at times better than a person that has a plan to deal with what comes.

I had defense mechanisms that I had developed my whole life to deal with situations that arose at times from hardship. I had such a good cope mechanism that I had fooled myself into believing that I had everything under control and that I pretty much could deal with anything. I had a plan, I had followed it and success was there in the eyes of others. But success is so relative and our self image at times so dependant on what others see that it is hard to look at the mirror and see what we are ourselve.

I have become a survivor because of having to face my way of dealing with things, and believe me I now feel like I am more true to myself than before when I felt like I had everything under "control". Sometimes having a solid plan is not as important as being able to face yourself and know that inside you are not just "dealing" but "surviving" and coming out better at the end. We might be saying the same thing, but to me the way you used surviving sounded to me more like coasting through life...

Great post!
